Marking two decades since the release of his influential and groundbreaking classic debut album Illmatic, from his personal influences to interviews with his musical peers, the film follows the life of New York rapper Nas’ during the time in which the album was made.
The documentary had its official premiere at the opening night of the 2014 Tribeca Film Festival and hits theaters on October 1.
