As many of my current and past customers know by this time in the year I would have normally done at least 5-6 shows by now. However as the title states I have been working on making sure my house is in order, which simply means ensuring that I am doing what is good from MY business not someone else's. Sometimes as small business owners we tend to be swayed by someone who states I can help you take your business to the next level.
Only you can take your business to the next level with the right amount of planning and preparation. It does not happen overnight but as you take each step you understand that there isn't a big BREAK overnight, it takes years to build a customer base ( and keep it)as well as build good publicity (and keep it). I have friends who have been nationally recognized for their respective businesses and friends who have yet to post products to their etsy page both sets are singing the same tune "when will this really turn a profit?"
I don't know the answer to that question, what I do know for sure as the quote states below if you don't know what you stand for in your business you will fall for anything and be lead off track everytime.
