It was a beautiful day in Atlanta. We topped it off with a walk to the Jackson Street bridge to catch the sunset, then a walk to the Beltline to see what it’s like after dark (dark and creepy, FYI). Then a walk back to the neared streetcar stop, and a ride back to our Downtown home. City life.

Nice pic from peachtreekeen!
Atlanta’s new streetcars aren’t taking passengers yet because the drivers are going through their training period. But they’re now a daily presence in Atlanta street traffic. What a wonderful sight!
Here’s one headed through Sweet Auburn with the buildings of Downtown Atlanta in the background.

Three lovely things I saw tonight in our Downtown Atlanta neighborhood: an illuminated sculpture, a silent film in Woodruff Park (both part of the Elevate arts program this week), and a pink&blue sunset.
