I had a conversation yesterday with a good friend of mine about putting yourself out there.  How if you don't put yourself out there you will never know the results.  This business is a huge put yourself out there adventure.

I have tried various marketing ideas/shows/events/business alliances etc. etc. etc..  Some of these have been a great success that one time and most of the others have been a series of stair steps leading up.  What I have learned so far are three very important lessons:

1. You have to Show Yourself.  You cannot hide behind someone else and expect results.

2. You have to Believe in Your Dream.  You cannot expect someone else to sell it for you.  

3. Do what you Love.  If you are an artisan and you no longer love what you are doing.  stop right now.  There is a reason why people ask the question "Would you do it for free?"

 

I love 3 Piece and I love the freedom it gives to my ideas and dreams.  I absolutely love making the scents, candles, throw pillows, coasters and the 3 prototype products I have been testing these past few months.  This isn't a sprint for me it is my journey.  Welcome to my love 3 Piece.
